My Training

It’s OK for you to talk about yourself.

I guess you’re here because you want to know a little about me. And that’s OK too!

I provide Psychotherapy, Counselling, Coaching and Consulting using a ‘social psychology’ called Transactional Analysis (TA), from my home in Chandler’s Ford, Hampshire.

I have successfully completed the TA101 Certificate course, the TA Foundation Year course, the Counselling Skills Certificate and the four year Advanced Clinical Psychotherapy using TA course. After all this, I am still in Advanced Training- in the final phases of an MSc in TA Psychotherapy – now writing my dissertation and preparing for examinations.

As part of my continual professional development, I have completed and will continue to attend many other relevant training workshops.

I seek out regular Supervision and personal therapy to improve the quality of what I do and how I go about doing it.

I am a student member of the BACP (British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy), the UKCP (UK Council for Psychotherapy), the HACP (Hampshire Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy), the UKATA (UK Association for Transactional Analysis), EATA (European Association for Transactional Analysis) and the ITAA (International Transactional Analysis Association).

I abide by the ethical codes of practice set by the key governing and standard-setting organisations for the UK. The Ethical Codes that underpin our work can be seen and reviewed at:-
